The St. Mary’s County Health Department has voted the Southern Maryland Mission of Mercy the 2019 Public Health Champion with almost 40% of the votes. The Health Department is thankful for the work SMMOM does to advance public health in St. Mary’s County by providing free dental services to uninsured and under-insured adults in St. Mary’s and surrounding counties. They also appreciate that SMMOM recognizes that partnerships are vital.
